Écoles troubles

Abstract
This article looks back on two intensive workshops held at ENSA Versailles and La Cambre Horta Faculty of Architecture in January and March 2023 respectively. Both called ‘Écoles troubles’ (Schools in Trouble), they invited students to help organize, spatialize, moderate and edit three public round tables on the troubles that are agitating architectural education: the redefinition of its values, methods and tools (‘Dear Schools’), the critical relationship to professional practice after graduation (‘Dear Future Architects’), and the identification of past experiences that can illuminate the present (‘Dear Grandparents’).
