Main Article Content
Abstract
A selection of tactile descriptions related to walking collected by Marc Crunelle within the frame of a research project conducted over the last ten years with the aim of learning about life and daily life in European cities through sensory perceptions, specifically through travellers' accounts. This research has resulted in a sensory inventory describing some 150 city smells, 140 city sounds, 120 city lights, and a few dozen thermal and tactile perceptions. They are available at the following address: www.lavilledessens.net.
