Isabelle Doucet, University of Manchester, Manchester Architecture Research Centre

Isabelle Doucet enseigne l’architecture et l’urbanisme au Manchester Architecture Research Centre (MARC), University of Manchester. Ses recherches portent sur les relations entre politique, esthétique et critique sociale dans l’architecture d’après- guerre. Elle porte un intérêt tout particulier aux répercussions du tournant « post-critique » ou « post-théorique » en architecture. Ses recherches ont été publiées dans les revues Architectural Theory Review, City Culture and Society, Belgeo, Footprint et Conditions, et, en tant que chapitres de livres, dans plusieurs ouvrages collectifs. Elle termine actuellement un manuscrit sur le tournant pratique en architecture, à partir de cas d’étude bruxellois d’après 1968.
